AccessiSight vs Lighthouse

Lighthouse is great for a quick page-level score. Its accessibility audit runs a subset of automated rules, so a high score doesn't mean a page conforms to WCAG.

Google Lighthouse (Browser Tool): Google's built-in Chrome DevTools auditing tool. If you're evaluating Google Lighthouse for accessibility testing or ADA/WCAG compliance work, here's how it compares to AccessiSight across features, cost, and what each is actually built to do.

Google Lighthouse

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a 100 on Lighthouse enough for ADA compliance?

No. Lighthouse tests a subset of automated rules, and no automated tool can confirm WCAG conformance on its own. A page can score 100 and still have barriers that need manual testing to find.

Can Lighthouse crawl and scan a whole website?

Lighthouse audits one page at a time (in DevTools, or via the CLI in a CI script). It has no built-in multi-page crawler or scheduled monitoring. AccessiSight's crawler scans many pages in one run and can be scheduled.
