European Accessibility Act
EU directive requiring accessibility for digital products and services. Applies to e-commerce, banking, transport, telecoms. EN 301 549 is the technical standard. ETSI published EN 301 549 V4.1.1 (aligned to WCAG 2.2) in September 2026, but V3.2.1 (WCAG 2.1) stays the harmonised reference until V4.1.1 is cited in the Official Journal.
